01:070:491 Capstone Colloquium in Evolutionary Medicine

Course Description: Evolutionary theory offers new approaches to disease, nutrition, and medical research.  This capstone colloquium is the final required course for a Certificate in Evolutionary Medicine and students will develop a portfolio of short papers where they will use evolutionary theory to generate predictions, synthesize contributions of evolutionary theory to medical research and treatment, and integrate evolutionary predictions and concepts with medical problems and applications.  Prerequisite: By permission only.
