I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biological Anthropology and Evolution from the University of Antananarivo. My research explores how evolutionary history, environmental factors, and genetics interact to shape modern human populations. I am particularly interested in understanding how these factors, using multi-omics and modeling approaches, contribute to disease susceptibility. My PhD will focus on acute lower respiratory diseases among children in Madagascar. Beyond research, I am passionate about empowering women in STEM and strengthening research and education capacity.
