Fran Mascia-Lees was recently named Dean of Social and Behavioral Sciences, SAS, Rutgers. She also elected to the Executive Board of the American Anthropological Association, and she was named the International Scholar of Gender Studies at the State University of Tbilisi, Georgia by Open Society Foundation.
